Meet Our Team
The clinic is run by Simon and Florentin, experienced HCPC-registered podiatrists and members of the Royal College of Podiatry. With backgrounds in both NHS and private practice, they are committed to delivering exceptional foot and ankle care. As practice placement educators at the University of Brighton, they are also actively involved in training the next generation of podiatrists.

Florentin Baciu
BSc (Hons) MRCPod
Florentin is a HCPC-registered podiatrist and proud member of the Royal College of Podiatry. He graduated from the University of Brighton with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry and have over a decade of experience working within the NHS. This has given him a deep understanding of patient care and the importance of addressing individual needs in a holistic and compassionate manner.

In addition to his NHS work, he has been supporting Brighton University podiatry students through his NHS role and direct involvement with the university’s podiatry department. This allows him to continuously develop his clinical expertise while helping to prepare and inspire the next generation of podiatrists.

Florentin started gaining valuable insight into patient care outside the NHS, having worked in the private sector for the past two years. This experience has broadened his perspective and deepened his understanding of the diverse needs of patients.

Simon Croucher
BSc (Hons) MRCPod
Simon has been working in the NHS for over 10 years, bringing a wealth of experience in both public and private podiatry care. He graduated from the University of Brighton, where he was awarded the Podiatry Staff Prize in recognition of his kindness, support, and care towards his fellow cohort.

A passionate advocate for podiatry, Simon is part of the Florence Nightingale Foundation Trust Alumni and works with them to develop the future of podiatry. He has extensive expertise in diabetic care, wound management, orthotics, musculoskeletal (MSK) podiatry, surgery, and paediatric care.
​
Two years ago, Simon began working in the private sector, building a healthy and happy client base by providing home visits for patients. Now, he feels the time is right to expand his private practice and provide expert podiatric care to the community—particularly for those who do not qualify for NHS treatment.

Simon is an HCPC-registered podiatrist, a member of the Royal College of Podiatry, and a practice placement educator at the University of Brighton, where he helps train the next generation of podiatrists.
